Live Entertainment At Bell's in 2021 - All You Need To Know!

We are beyond excited (& ready) to announce that live music at Bell’s Eccentric Café both in the Back Room and Beer Garden, will be making a return this year beginning in August, 2021! It’s been a long 15+ months without entertainment and we sure have missed it. Here at Bell’s, we have been a long-time supporter of the arts and local music community, showcasing acts from all genres and backgrounds, and we’re eager to continue those efforts.

Safety will always come first and we will continue monitoring and adhering to CDC guidance.  The state of Michigan’s COVID mitigation guidelines were lifted as of June 22, 2021. With those things in mind, we are happy to welcome you to the Back Room and Beer Garden when you are ready.

Before you join us for a show or other event, here are a few answers to the most commonly asked questions about summer events in the Back Room and Beer Garden.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the age requirement for attending a show? 

All shows at Bell's Eccentric Cafe are 21 and up. 

Where can I buy tickets? 

Tickets can be purchased at Etix.com or by stopping in the Bell's General Store.

Can I bring in my own folding chair? 

Guests are not allowed to bring their own lawn chairs into the Back Room and Beer Garden due to capacity and safety restrictions.

Can I bring a bag?

Yes! Try to only bring what you will need for the next few hours of your life! A.K.A your ticket, some money, a phone. We do not have a "clear bag" policy, but large bags and backpacks are prohibited. Please note: All bags are subject to search and we do not have a bag check or coat check.

Can I bring my own container for water?

Yes! Empty water bottles are OK - they can be refilled inside and outside. You may not bring outside containers or other alcoholic beverages.

Can I bring my own camera?

Cameras without removable lenses are allowed, we just ask that you be mindful and respectful of the artists performing and those nearby in the audience. Please note: No flash photography.

What items are prohibited? 

Weapons of any kind, illegal drugs, umbrellas, noisemakers, backpacks, large bags, coolers, bikes, signs, banners, and blankets. Please note: Bell's Brewery has the right to refuse any other items.

Do you have ADA seating? 

Yes, we have ADA seating. The Beer Garden is a GA - Standing Room-only venue. For those who may need extra assistance, we are more than happy to provide designated seating. Just let us know ahead of time by emailing concertinfo@bellsbeer.com.

Do you sell food in the Beer Garden?

Yes! Food is available for purchase outside in the Beer Garden. If you would like to grab a bite or enjoy dinner inside the Eccentric Cafe before a show, we recommend arriving early. Beer Garden menu coming soon!

Can I smoke in the Beer Garden?

Smoking and/or vaping of any kind is prohibited in the Beer Garden. Designated tobacco-only smoking areas are located outside of Bell's Eccentric Cafe establishment.

Can I bring my dog to the concert? 

Only certified service animals are allowed inside the Eccentric Cafe and Beer Garden.

What should I do if I can't find my ticket or can't print my ticket?

You do not need to have your physical ticket with you at the door. You may show the door staff your ticket via your cell phone. If you can't find your ticket, our team can help look up your purchase order. 

Can I re-enter the Beer Garden?

While the show is still going on, re-entry is allowed with a valid wristband. Upon completion of the show, there is no re-entry.

Can I get a refund for my ticket?

Sorry, no refunds available.

What is the weather policy?

Our Beer Garden Summer Series is rain or shine! Please bring your ponchos if there's a high chance of rain. We will also have a limited amount of ponchos available at the Eccentric Cafe. In the event of inclement weather in the area, the show will be delayed until the threat has passed. The decision to continue a concert after adverse weather passes will be determined on a case-by-case basis. If the concert is canceled entirely and the artist does not enter the stage, we will issue a refund. By use of this ticket, the ticket purchaser/holder (“Holder”) agrees that Bell’s Brewery shall have the unrestricted right and license to the Holder’s image, likeness, comments, or other proprietary or public rights in any broadcast, telecast or photograph and/or video and/or audio sound recording taken in connection with the event or other transmission or reproduction in whole or in part of the event, for all purposes, without compensation.

Important information regarding indoor shows at the Café:

Beginning on September 8th, as part of the entry requirements for all Bell’s Eccentric Café indoor shows, all participants must provide proof of vaccination through the CLEAR Health app, or a negative COVID test within the last 72 hours (shown at the door) in order to attend.

We have partnered with CLEAR Health Pass, to provide easy proof of COVID-19 vaccination status. Complete your Health Pass before arriving to the Eccentric Café for a seamless experience! To get started, download the CLEAR app. For the most efficient experience possible, all ticket holders should sign up for CLEAR and complete their COVID-19 proof of vaccination before arriving to the Cafe.

Trust and transparency are CLEAR’s top priority, and with Health Pass, users are always in control of their health information. HOW TO COMPLETE YOUR CLEAR HEALTH PASS:
1) Download the CLEAR app and tap the white Health Pass tile
2) Select ‘Have a code’ and enter the code BELLSBEER
3) Easily enroll or verify your identity with a quick selfie
4) Follow the prompts to verify your proof of vaccination
5) Before you arrive, reopen the Health Pass tile and produce your pass. Green is good to go! Be ready to show upon arrival to check-in for the show.

Answers to some commonly asked questions

  • For those who have already purchased tickets to an upcoming indoor show and are unable to adhere to this policy, you may request a full refund by emailing concertinfo@bellsbeer.com.
  • If you have lost your vaccination card, contact your local health department to obtain proof of your vaccination.
  • If not able to show a clear health pass, you can show negative test results obtained within the last 72 hours at entry.
  • For patrons who do not have a smartphone, we will be manually verifying vaccination status on the day of the show.
