About the Café

Our journey began in Kalamazoo right next door to where our pub, the Eccentric Café, is today. Our quest for a better beer continues in the very same brewery, with a lot of the very same equipment that set us on this path more than 30 years ago. Our brewers are constantly experimenting, developing new favorites and continuing the work Larry Bell started in 1985.

Many of our beers travel beyond Kalamazoo, but some are exclusive to the Café.
Just like our brewery in nearby Comstock, this space has changed quite a bit over the years.

With 20+ draught options, a full-service restaurant, a luscious Beer Garden, comfortable patio and a state-of-the-art music venue, Bell’s Eccentric Café is the premiere craft beer destination in Michigan.

Our kitchen offers inspired fare, made with locally sourced, primarily non-GMO and sustainable ingredients, made from scratch to complement our beer.

Right around the corner, is the Bell’s General Store where you can buy Bell’s beer-to-go (including growlers), Bell’s gear and take advantage of a wide selection of homebrew ingredients, supplies and expertise.
