Meet the hop farmers
Michigan hops are from Hop Head Farms in Hickory Corners, Michigan, located about 17 miles from the Eccentric Café next store to our original brewery in downtown Kalamazoo where this beer is brewed (when available).

This IPA features bright, juicy, floral and peach hop aromas with an aggressive bitterness and grapefruit hop flavors. The focus of this beer is on the Michigan hops (from Hop Head Farms) with malt lending support. This beer was originally brewed as a specialty IPA for the Chicago market and was resurrected for the Kalamazoo area in 2013.
A limited number of 22 oz. bottles were released at the Bell's General Store and featured a series of 4 labels depicting several iconic Kalamazoo buildings: the Kalamazoo Train Depot, WMU’s East Hall, the Railroad Switch House near the Eccentric Cafe and the historic Kalamazoo State Hospital Water Tower.
